The continuity of the production of ERW pipes according to the various diameters is gradually and continuously maintained in the welding stands. ERW pipes are the abbreviated form of the Electrical Resistance Welded Pipes. The demand for these pipes has risen exponentially in the recent years to a huge extent. Manufacturing Process of the Electrical Resistance Welding Pipes:
These electrically resistant pipes are manufactured from the hot rolled coils or the seam plates. These rolled coils are levelled and processed by the shearing force and the coil ends are then welded by electrical resistance welding method for reducing the losses and maintaining the continuity. Classification of the Electrical Resistance Welding Pipes:
These pipes are generally classified into two categories according to the general forms of the pipes: the longitudinal Pipes and the Spiral Pipes. While in accordance to the applications of the pipes, they are widely classified into several categories. And they are
1. Galvanized pipes with zinc coating on the surface
2. Blow oxygen pipes used for blowing oxygen especially for the manufacturing of the pipes of small diameters.
3. Electrical welding pipes generally used for conduit electrical wiring.
4. Welding thin walled tube used for making toys, furniture etc.
